JOHN DILLON - In 1997, John Dillon placed 4th Nationally, 4th at Easterns and was the New England Regional Champion in his respective Category as a Competitive Figure Skater. He was the assistant coach for the Holy Cross Women's Team in 2003. John has apprenticed with Steffany Hanlen (NHL Power Skating coach). He has worked with youth, Division 1 College, Professional and NHL players. John has his Bachelor's degree in Psychology and believes in positive reinforcement. His Figure Skating and Hockey background set him apart as the founder & director of Explosive Power Skating & Hockey School. AMY BERG spent a decade competing at the highest levels of the sport of figure skating, at the national and international levels. During that time, she and partner, Ron Kravette won 5 medals at the U.S. National Championships and were alternates to the '94 Olympic Games. Amy was mentored by some of the most famous names in the sport which has given her a strong understanding of how to motivate and positively influence her own students. During her pro career, which included a bronze medal at the World Professional Championships, she also coached ice dancing and had students who won the U.S. National title at the Jr level. While Amy's background is in figure skating, she did play on the Varsity Women's hockey team at Bowdoin College. She has been coaching with Explosive Power for the past year, and enjoys the attention to detail and knowledge imparted in this school.
